Add an Organisation
You can search for an organisation by entering the name or any part of the name of the group you require. Always use and instead of & (ampersand) in your search.
For example a search using mary will find organisations such as St Mary's Parish Church, St. Mary the Virgin Church, St Mary Magdalene Church etc.
You can search by entering a topic or subject. You can use a specific term such as methodist, or buddhist or you can use more general terms such as christian or social . Using terms like women, youth or children will return organisations which are aimed at these particular sections of the community.
You can also combine the name and subject search, for example by entering Church in the name box and catholic in the subject box you will find all the Catholic organisations with church in their name.
You can choose to search EITHER by location
OR by a radius area of your postcode.
Location: The default anywhere
will search all the database. You can select a general area for your
search such as Harborough District or Charnwood or you can use the
scroll bar to find a town or village.
Postcode: Infolinx can find groups located
within 1, 3, 5, 10 or 20 miles of your postcode, just enter the complete
postcode and select a radius.
Results can be displayed with selected information included or excluded. Choose the
headings in which you want to display and de-select those you do not.
Location, Main Interests
and Contact are displayed by default.
You may prefer to see all your results on one page, or just 25, 50 or 100 at a time.
The default setting is 25.
Infolinx retains the name of Disbanded groups for approximately 12 months after the date they disband.
You can choose not to display these groups if you wish.
On the results page you can click on the organisation name to see more information
about that group.
